Teams and they are about

I see some different types of teams here. What are those all about? Are they pro teams or teams within the community?

Well I can speak for FAU Airsoft (nicknamed F.A.S.T.). We're the collegiate team of Florida Atlantic University. Due to college guidelines we cannot accommodate any non-students on the team, but do find it vital to communicate and compete with/against other local teams and of course have fun in this awesome sport.
There really aren't many professional teams in airsoft here in the states, but there are quite a few teams here who if there was a professional league, could be part of it.

But how do you join these teams within our community?

Most teams will post up somewhere if they are looking for new players or you can try contacting them on the different forums.

Really wish i could but we just got into our new house this week so i got mad work to do. Looks like a moving truck exploded in this place lol

yeah dude make it up to rage on a sat evening and you can get all the info from a couple of teams that are there...like for example i run Last company and i go by fullmetal...or you can speak to a good friend of mine nightbreed he runs sog...any info you need feel free to ask

You may want to meet some of the guys from some of these teams and see if it is a good fit for you. The teams here don't all have the same outlook on the sport. Some are more MILSIM oriented and others are not. It really depends on what you are looking to get out of your airsoft experience. Most teams seem to have their own web pages and forums so you can get to know them online and see what they are about. I would certainly check out a team before deciding to join one. There are plenty of good teams local to you.
