| Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that we are taking this to another level. We will have a new website with a whole new look. The godaddy template was good to get off the ground, but we need something more....us.
We will be up and running with the new site within the next couple of weeks.

| Where a lot of other forums have them, I feel that there are times when people dont log on for a while and they miss whatever was said. And that is also something that cannot be moderated to easily. | |

That will take some time for sure. We have A LOT of work to do before anyone is allowed to play. The site is just to help with the image that we have.

| A video section would be a cool feature. Airsoft videos would keep people entertained when there's no one to talk to. Maybe reviews, tutorials, and action packed videos of all kinds. | |

| Thats a great idea, but being that there are a ton of manufacturers that already do that and not to mention retails stores, you can just search youtube. Perhaps in the future as we grow and become more organized and stable we can add something like that. However you did help me realize that I should add a page the help newer players out and understand what airsoft is...
Twizi - Thats exactly the look I was going for. Too many airsoft sites have that similar template that our site currently uses. I wanted to design something that is not seen anywhere and looks clean and simple. This site will do just that.

| Why use youtube when you want visitors to stay on your site. You can just have an embed function. People in our community can have discussions about the videos in your site's comments. Youtube comments are usually nothing but spam. I'd rather watch a video on airsoft on an airsoft website rather than a place where everyone just wants attention. You tend to get better feedback and higher quality videos. Just saying.
A tutorial section would be nice too. Especially for people who want an idea of how the game is, certain strategies, teach people the airsoft jargon (there's things we say that an average person may be confused by), replica identification/reviews and how to upgrade stuff, practice routines, etc... lots of stuff could go under a tutorial section. Articles with pictures to aid them would be a good feature to the site. You'd have more people returning to read the content.

| Avalon, the idea is great, but it would take a whole lot of dedication to put all those videos together as well as having all the knowledge needed. A lot of what people will learn however is why we are building this field and organization. The site is not just a place for people to grab attention, it is a place for them to know what is going on, when its going on and the rules they have to follow. As well as getting all the required paperwork to play on the field.
In regards to strategies and upgrades and all that other fun stuff. There are plenty of forums at the moment that have more than enough information pertaining to that. Websites are not really for having discussions on, that is what these and other forums are for. The website is to promote the South Florida Airsoft Association and its ways. How the game is played and what you use is entirely up to the player. We are only here to organize and make sure that the players are being responsible on the field.
Hosting videos also uses bandwidth, something that costs money. And hosting videos will use a lot of bandwidth on the site. We just cant afford to have such an extensive site like airsoftgi and what not. Being a non profit organization we have to do what we can with what we have. All great ideas do not get me wrong and who knows, maybe at some point we can implement these ideas, but for what the SFAA stands for, the site we have designed does the job just fine at the moment.

| That would be a good idea maybe all of us could donate money to a cheap headcam like video camera or something also the sight looks very nice and should help people get into airsoft Shooter regarding the begginers section u could link video to mechbox and utube video about gun dissemble and brand names and diffrences between metal gearboxes and metal gearboxes also list why we use diffrent bb instead of .12 like they might use | |

| New website is now up and running. The banner on the top will go away when we can afford to pay for hosting. | |
