Med's in your SFAA? Empty
PostSubject: Med's in your SFAA?   Med's in your SFAA? EmptySun Jul 10, 2011 1:23 am

Was curious on how everyone in florida ran MED's or Minimum Engagement Distances?
The FPS for certain class weapon's is about the same in Texas, except for pistol's.

Any help is much appreciated.

Reason for asking is, when I go on vacation, I am planning on hitting up florida (90% sure) and I will be hitting up the local airsoft scene.
Might rent or see if I can bring one of my own over. Time will tell though

They tend to be different depending on the field. Some of the average engagement distances have been set up as our rules, but these are only for our field, which is not finished yet...

• The minimum engagement distance for airsoft pistols is 5 feet
• The minimum engagement distance for airsoft replicas shooting up to 400 fps is 10 feet
• The minimum engagement distance for airsoft replicas shooting in excess of 400 fps is 100 feet

But its a field by field basis. Most of the fields have a site and will have that posted up as well. And not everyone plays with a bang rule either.

Understood. Like I said, I was curious to know how each state MED's are in airsoft/milsim.

This link is how we abide airsoft in Texas.

There are some similarities for both states.
