Rules: All BA Rules and FPS regulations will be adhered to for this event.
Quote :
Bonita Airsoft - Rules of Gameplay

Airsoft is meant to be a fun game. Rules are designed not to restrict but protect the safety of its participants and ensure each player has a good time. In developing these rules, we tried to cover

Velocity Limits:

-400 fps limit with .2 gram BB for all full-auto airsofts - minimum 10ft engagement.
-400 to 450 fps limit with .2 gram BB for all semi-auto airsofts - minimum 50ft engagement.
-450 to 500 fps limit with .2 gram BB for all semi-auto airsofts - minimum 75ft engagement.
-500 to 550 fps limit with .2 gram BB for all bolt action airsofts - minimum 100ft engagement.

Personal Protection:

-Goggles/Glasses REQUIRED. Impact rated (meets or exceeds ANSI Standards)
-goggles/glasses must be worn at all times on the game fields.
-No mesh goggles!

Minimum Shooting Distance:

-No shooting less than 10 feet. You must yell out "BANG" or "SURRENDER".
-No blind firing.

Surrender:

In outdoor, or non-CQB situations, an order to surrender can only be given within 10 feet away. All players ordered to surrender MAY CHOOSE TO COMPLY. It is conceivable that a player can sneak up to within 5 feet of a group of players and order all of them to surrender.

Eliminations:

-Any hit from a BB anywhere on your body is an elimination unless otherwise stated before the game.
-Gun hits do not count.
-Ricochets do not count. Any hit from a BB ricocheting off an object close to you (wall, tree, your gun, etc.) do not count.
-Friendly fire (hits from teammates) counts.
-In the event of an elimination, the eliminated player must yell "HIT!". No false calls.
-If the area is clear, the eliminated player immediately exits the playing area in the most direct route possible. Either hold both hands or your airsoft above your head. If necessary, call out "HIT!" numerous times to prevent from being shot again.
-If the area is "hot", the eliminated player(s) lay down on the ground and wait. It may be necessary to keep yelling "HIT!". When the area clears, exit as described above. While exiting, the only word from an eliminated player must be "HIT" and nothing else.
-Dead men tell no tales.
-Eliminated players may leave equipment at the spot of elimination for use of the "surviving" members. This is at the discretion of the eliminated player. Equipment must be retrieved at the spot where the player was eliminated.

A note on identifying hits:
When you THINK you may have gotten hit by a BB you should declare yourself hit and walk off the
field. Sometimes it is VERY hard to tell if you have been hit. However, if someone fires a full-auto
burst at you and you have nothing but soft cover (ie bushes, tall grass, ect) you probably got hit
and could not tell. About the only exceptions is if you are lying prone on the ground and facing your
attacker. Since about the only thing you have exposed is your head feeling a BB hit is MUCH easier
and much less debatable.

Variations (rule variations will be announced prior to game start)

Nashville Rules: Only hits to the head and torso count. Hits to the limbs DO NOT count. All other rules apply.

Medic Rules: Instead of exiting the playing filed, the 'wounded' player lays down, stays where he/she is, and calls "MEDIC!" The team's designated medic must get to the player to reactivate the player.
-The wounded player cannot fire.
-The wounded player may talk to teammates regarding enemy positions, ect.
-The wounded player may move to a new location only if escorted by live players.

Pyro/Grenades:
-No paint grenades allowed.
-Smoke grenades are allowed but must first be approved by Bonita Airsoft.
-All other pyrotechnics subject to prior approval before use. Use of unauthorized devices is
subject to immediate dismissal and disbarment from future games.
Vehicle Usage:
The following types of vehicles will be allowed on the field during game play:

-Golf Carts, ATV's, work mules, jeeps & pick up trucks. All vehicles must remain in first or low gear at all times.
** All vehicles will remain under 15 mph.
** Only players with a valid FL drivers license are allowed to operate any vehicles.

-Small boats, zodiac rafts & canoes are also allowed on the field. We have several large lakes that are part of the playing field!
** All watercraft must have life jackets in them at all times.
** Electric trolling motors are allowed for the small boats. No gas motors.

Pyro:
-Smoke grenades and easter egg grenades are highly recommended!

Field Pictures: All 500 Acres!

Event Camping:
-Camping will be available on site for free for all players and family members. Only players are allowed to camp on the field during game play or they can choose to set up camp in the Green Zone.
** Campers, RV's and Motorhomes are allowed in the Green Zone.

On site Food:
-Coming Soon
_________________________________________________________________

Game Dynamics and Length:
This will be a 24 hour scenario split up into 3, 3 hour Cause and Effect Objective Based Session with an 8 Hour Open Field R&R Event and Followed by a 4 Hour final Session.

During the R&R the player may opt to sleep on the field in hot zones where they can be attacked at any time or they may retire to the Green Zone for the duration of the R&R and rest easier knowing they are out of harm’s way.

Each Session will have a corresponding 1 hour refresh and refuel segment to ensure the player is at peak performance.

It is understood that all players attending this event are responsible enough to show up to briefing on time and schedule themselves accordingly to ensure that they are where they need to be at the correct times. This event is time sensitive and every minute you are late or sleeping in, is another minute the enemy has to encroach upon your objectives…

Storyline:

Quote :
10 years ago, during a period of economic instability, several City States of what was once the NoSo-State Republic broke free from their dictatorship and Declared themselves the Free Northern Territories. With the Country already running on a deficit The NoSo-State Republic was unable to wrest control and re-integrate the now Free Northern Territories. Renaming itself the Southern States, the leaders of the old NoSo-State Republic regime have been biding their time until they could gain more power and influence enough to take back what was stolen from them. In the years since the two new Nations have had a tentative truce with mild boarder wars being fought along the “Yellow Zone”, which is the highly contested demarcation line
between the two countries.

January 14th 0100 hours
The SSS-NOPP 1 (Southern States Satellite-Nuclear Orbital Protection Platform) mysteriously loses orbit and goes down over the Free Northern Territories.

January 14th 0800 hours
During a Morning Press Conference, The Southern States Declare that the Satellite was shot down intentionally by the Free Northern Territories in an effort to gain intelligence on the Southern States and attempt to gain access to their advanced nuclear technology.

January 15th 1000 hours
The Southern States Formally Challenge The Free Northern Territories on the Basis of espionage and declare that they will advance unless the Free Northern Territories open up their boarders to allow clear passage for the Satellite Retrieval Force….

January 15th 1200 hours
With no response from the Free Northern Territories and against the wishes of the World Government, the Southern States Declare War and move to advance against the Free Northern Territories. Using the guise of both recovering the downed Southern satellite and the Northern Aggression as an opportunity to reclaim the Free Northern Territories and place them back
under Southern rule.

Join Us as the Free Northern Forces Brace for war and the Southern state begin their advance, the only question left to ask is,
which side will you be on?

Event Age Limit:
The age limit for this event is 14 and up, however the following rules will apply.

All players must have signed waivers on file with Bonita Airsoft before game time. -If the waiver is not filled out completely by the parent or legal guardian, the child will not be able to play.
-If copies of the parents/ legal guardians photo id’s are not present, the child will not be able to play.

Age 16 – 17

Found the above posted on Bonita Airsoft's Website and thought to post it on here to find out who is going?

-The weather should be great and cool since it is in January
-The moon is going to be a waxing gibbous which means almost a full-moon so visibility will be nice at night
-Prime time airsoft with the most amount of players during the year!

I am definitely in, so sound off if you are!

More information will be posted as the game gets closer, so stand by for info!

I have played on this field in the past and had a blast. It was not all 500 acres, so it should be a really great time. I just hope they can get the insurance they need for this event. Last I heard the owners of the property were not going to put up the cash for the insurance. All in all I hope it works out. Plus, it will be a great event for the South Florida area.
