Repo which fields in Miami are being delayed? I have been in talks with the Parks Department down there for this. They have not mentioned anything to me. I heard about the Killhouse, but from what I read they were going to host paintball as well being that its still makes more money than airsoft. But this is just hearsay and what Ive seen posted on other forums.
Broward County will not open a field. Not going to happen. Ive talked with Commissioners and Parks Directors....They will not have it.
The other field in WPB, well I am not 100% sure if that is an insured and sanctioned field. Its private land and the poster has conflicting rules about ages. He posts on FA that its 18+ but posts on other forums its younger than that. And the info on that one is ever changing on the date. There has been nothing really too solid.
In light of all this, the idea of the South Florida Airsoft Association should be spread to these places or people trying. Doing this will only segregate the community and that is what we are trying to not do. Given there are cliques and groups that like to stick together, thats just the way society goes. What everyone needs to understand about us (THE SFAA).....We are more than just a field that will be opening, we just got lucky enough to host a field. We are an idea, a community a group of players with a common interest that we all enjoy and hold dear to ourselves.
