Welcome Robbie! Good to have you here. Age does not mean much to a lot of the players in this community. In the end its all about how you present yourself, on and off the field. And being that you role with P-Chuck, Im sure you can hold your own, regardless of age.

What upgrades do you have to your L96? My main role, when I actually play is a sniper role. I do not really use a ghillie, unless I borrow it from my teammate Ace. However I use an L96 as well, slightly upgraded and a few DIY mods.

Again, welcome and looking forward to seeing you out on the field in the near future.

Nice. Okay now for mine.

PDI Hop Up Unit
Systema "Medium" Bucking
Polar Star Concave Spacer
6.01 Edgi Tight Bore Barrel
PDI Palsonite Cylinder Set / w Laylax Piston (I smashed the PDI Vacuum Piston with the PDI SS2000 Spring)
I forget what Spring I put in there. Shooting around 500 or so with .20s I cant remember At the moment I use .32 Goldenball
Laylax Zero trigger (I need to get the trigger part remachined, I managed to snap it somehow)
Tefion tape mods
Stock is filled with foam.
Custom painted as well.

Last time it was tuned properly, I was able to reach out and touch a man sized target at about 200 or so feet.

That just about does it. Here is a shot of the rifle with me....
Im on the right with Ace's ghillie, and Ace is on the left.

Nice setup I am surprised with the zero trigger snapping internally.
I am hoping to upgrade more but as you now all the websites sell out instantly so we have to order over seas. Is that a 6-9 Harris bipod I see on your rifle.
Future upgrades are king arms light weight trigger and a long fluted barrel with a m82 muzzle brake. I have a old ghille a friend sold me that works great. I also have a couple friends that play that p chuck brother also nows that I will try to get to join this cool forum.

No no, it wasnt an internal break. However I did snap the original sear with the PDI spring as well. Hmm, maybe I got a lemon, but I have the rest of it so....

THe king arms trigger I believe is not being made anymore, however I could be wrong. Your best bet is to order overseas. I always do and I never have had problem. Check with http://www.x-fire.org/e.index.htm They have tons of goodies.

The bipod is a replica I took from another teammate. Yeah I took it from him, hes in the Army right now so he cant do anything about it.

Why the M82 muzzle break? Might look a bit funky with the fluted muzzle, I would say go with the intended flash hider http://www.x-fire.org/type96/e.t96_hider_ai1.html

Just my opinion really. I might be going the short barrel route. I dont know yet. My next real big purchase is a SR25 with a mock silencer. Gonna be a beauty! And yes, please have your friends sign up here and get the word out.

If you google maruzin l96 I think there's a photo of an l96 with a really short barrel but was still shooting 545fps
How does that bipod work I'm thinkin about getting a Harris for my gun the orginal bipod wobles to much.
I can't wait to play with you

Regarding the muzzle brake the only problem is order stuff over seas is almost immpossible because neither of my parents have paypal so I'm limited of were I can order stuff
I really like that muzzle brake I have a classic army silencer on my gun now that looks good but I really prefer flash hiders

Always check out AirsoftAtlanta.com

Here: http://www.Airsoftatlanta.com/Guarder_Type_96_L96_Steel_Suppressor_Type_A_p/47892.htm

They have quite a few parts for your rifle. The trigger, probably not. That sells out everywhere. Hence why I am getting the part machined at a local store. Cant find a replacement anywhere.

I have the rail on my rifle glued on so it doesnt move and then the bipod is a harris replica and it uses rail attachments to hold on. I have to get a new spring on one of the legs. This rifle has taken a beating over the years and its not well like when its operating properly, really really accurate when I have time to take the shot.

Only problem is that that flash hider needs an 14mm ccw Adapter while I have a 14mm cw adapter. I have looked at those flash hiders before and they look really nice but there very hard to get when you can't order over seas
